Islands & Trains is a world building game where you place landscape, buildings, bridges, tracks and trains for no other purpose than to make satisfying vignettes. Inspired by games like Townscaper and Dorfromantik you play at your own pace, clicking to make the little model train-set world of your dreams. It stands out because it leans into being a relaxing sandbox with no goals, no timer, no missions, no stress. Just happy accidents.

Whether you build your dioramas to have just a single shed or idyllic villages with dense forests, it's a game that sparks the imagination rather than the reflexes. Lay your own railroad on top of your beloved island. Place animals in the countryside and just watch & enjoy your peaceful creation. Get lost in finding the most perfect place for all these little pieces.
