OverviewOverview

Jelly Car is a puzzle game about a car made of jelly traversing a squishy world. You use the physics properties of the car and the objects in the world to get from A to B. It's an action puzzle game that stands out for the joyous novelty of a malleable vehicle and imaginative ways to solve the geometrical problems.

It's a game that was popular ten years ago, and is now recreated in modern form. To play you drive the car backwards and forwards to make use of its tactile soft-body physics. Because it's made of jelly you can squish through gaps, stick to things and even hang upside-down. As you progress you get more abilities (Grow, Balloon, Sticky Tires and Rocket) to help you navigate the levels and find the exit.

The result is a more-ish puzzle game that takes you through the pages of its living flick-book. It's a challenging game, but one that has the feel of the playground rather than the classroom.
