King Pins Review

OverviewOverview

King Pins is a small real time strategy game where you command a small group of people to gather resources, build bases, farms and towers to defend yourself or attack the three other encampments. It's like Age of Empires but in miniature fashion. Collect resources and expand your territory while defending your main unit: the king!

The short hour long campaign introduces the four different races, troops types and resources. You can then set-up four player matches with human and computer players using Keyboard or Gamepad. Each time you play the map and resources are different.

"I wanted to make such a game that you could play with controllers against your friends locally, however I also made a whole campaign and AI with different difficulties. So there is plenty of game to be played even when you're playing solo!"

It's a great introduction to these strategy games where you must balance offence and defence while scaling up your resource collection. But be careful, if your king dies, you lose!
