Lemmings is a series of puzzle games where you guide small (suicidal) creatures to the end of the levels. Unusually, you don't control when or how a character jumps and navigates the areas, but instead, you assign them actions that change the level to create a safe path to the end of the level. It's a unique blend of puzzle and platform game that requires critical thinking and clever strategies to win.

In the most recent game, Lemmings: The Puzzle Adventure (also known simply as Lemmings), on iOS and Android, you travel from planet to planet and restore them to their former glory by recruiting the lemmings you guide to work on the planet.

You give specific locations on the level actions for lemmings to perform when they get there, such as parachute down a large drop, or destroy a block to clear the way. You can also assign individual lemming actions, such as blocking the way of other lemmings to prevent them from walking into a deadly trap or machine. With over 5000 levels to complete, it's a unique offering similar to Rabbids Coding but played in a platforming-style area such as Mario games, particularly Mario vs. Donkey kong.

The original game was released back in 1991 and has since been released on myriad platforms, but the only games you can still get today are the more recent ones.

This report is based on the most recent game, Lemmings: The Puzzle Adventure.

The lemmings automatically enter every stage after a few seconds, so you only have a limited time to prepare actions and figure out your plan before they begin moving, which they do automatically.

The levels are relatively straightforward, but in some cases, it can be hard to see specific objects as many items are of a similar colour. Additionally, some objects are quite small. as it is played on a 2D plane, you can always see the entire level.

when a lemming dies due to falling, a small patch of blood appears, and this remains there for the rest of the level and cannot be disabled.
