Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey Remastered is an adventure game where you use words to defeat monsters, ghosts, and evil bunnies. You play by spelling words to trigger attacks and cast spells. It's a novel combination of Scrabble and a classic adventure game.

As you explore the world you take on quests and find enemies to battle. These battles focus on using letters to create words. As you progress you earn gems to purchase upgrades, books, special items and potions. Along with the adventure quests there is an endless mode to see how long you can survive. The game knows about almost 200,000 words to use and has a constantly updated dictionary.

It's a game that's been remade from the ground up from an older version. You can tell that care and attention has been heaped on the resulting experience. It's turn based so you can take you time with each word. You can also use a keyboard to play the game, if your system supports it, it makes things flow much better. The result is a game about using your linguistic skills to survive that leverages both turn-based adventure play and the satisfaction of coming up with high scoring words.
