OverviewOverview

MXGP 2020 The Official Motocross Video Game is an off road motorbike racing game based on the FIM Motocross World Championship. You compete in 19 muddy tracks from the competition, rain or shine, jumping huge hills and altering high-speed sections with bumps, twists and turns that require tactics and just the right dose of power.

In MXGP 2020 you'll take on other riders, either online or in solo play. Alternatively, you can take it easy in the Playground mode, where you can drive around the forests of the Norwegian countryside. or practice your skills in a Timed event. The Career mode that lets you play through several seasons, a single track option and an online mode.

The series has developed with each release:
  • MXGP: The Official Videogame (2015) - PS4, Xbox 360
  • MXGP2: The Official Videogame (2016) - PS4, Xbox One
  • MXGP3 (2017) - PS4,¬†Xbox One
  • MXGP Pro (2018) - PS4, Xbox One
  • MXGP 2019 (2019) - PS4, Xbox One, PC
  • MXGP 2020 (2020) - PS4, PS5 Xbox One, PC

MXPG 2020 is enhanced on PlayStation 5, although not yet on Xbox Series X. This adds more realistic graphics, highly reduced load times and uses new features of the DualSense controller, which better mimics the struggle through the mud.

This latest entry in the series is a pleasure to play due to its realistic representation of the challenging motorbike sports, without any of the actual dirt. You really get a feel for the struggle the racers endure when trying to master the high powered motorbikes, steering through the diverse and challenging courses.
