It's inspired by the classic computer game from the 1990s, along with more recent iterations like Sudoku and Picross. It's a brain teaser that will challenge your mind and logical thinking. The levels are different each time you play them but ensure it is always skill rather than luck that wins the day.
Additional elements extend the Mine Sweeper play. For a start you have to walk around to mark tiles. Also, certain tiles change the order of the columns and there are special tiles that move and jump you around the board.
In the campaign mode of the game you have three tries on each level, lose a life and lose a star. This offers an incentive to go back and complete levels without losing a life. While younger players can just guess where the bombs are, the real fun is intelligently figuring out each location.
