There's no selectable difficulty as the game slowly gets harder.

If you are on a top score, you can opt to continue if you fail, although this is limited by the number of coins you have won or purchased. When you fail you keep all the coin progress you have made to that point.

The game provides audio cues for different events. Such as large volume of traffic, impatient drivers and traffic event. When cars honk their horns the driver icon changes colour to indicate this visually. For the vehicles that don't stop, you get a visual sign and an audio cue about what type of vehicle.

You can turn off the 3D camera motion effect to ease motion sickness. The colour of fast cars are always red, however the fast cars are always depicted as sports cars. You can turn off the drivers of the cars being flung from vehicles, however your main character can still get hit and fall to the ground, prone and not moving.
