Play OverviewPlay Overview

My First Castle Panic (2019) is a simpler version of Castle Panic. You work together to defend your castle by knocking out the monsters before they get to your walls by matching the colour and shape with cards in your hand. It stands out for the simple collaboration that also gets young players thinking strategically.

Each turn the monsters advance along the single path toward your castle. Each step has a colour and a shape that players take turns to match with Defender cards to knock off the trolls. When a matching card is played that monster is thrown into the dungeon.

But with each turn new monsters appear, some of which have special abilities, like jumping to the front of the line or pushing all the other attackers forward. Tension builds as monsters get closer and closer to the castle. You can ask other players for help if they have a better card than you.

If two of them reach the castle it's destroyed and the players lose. If it still stands when all the monsters are in the dungeon, the players win.
