OverviewOverview

Next Station: London is a sequencing game where you redesign the London Underground. You play by drawing lines on a Map sheet to connect stations, zones, and landmarks. Like Mini Metro, it is a game about linking stations efficiently whilst not curtailing future options and coping with the inevitable curveballs of passenger requirements.

You are a project manager tasked with redesigning the London Underground. You each start with a blank paper map of unconnected stations and one of the four coloured pencils. As you turn over Station cards each player draws on the map to extend their line to a station matching the shape on the card.

At first, it's a simple case of ensuring you maximise your score by visiting the most districts, river crossings, and landmarks while maximising station density. However, because you rotate pencil colours after five Station cards, you have to be careful not to block future options when drawing the next coloured line.

It's a visual puzzle where you map out your four routes carefully to make most efficient use of the Station cards you all share. Care is needed because just when you think you have the perfect route, the Station card throws up a tricky station and you have to change your plans.
