Play OverviewPlay Overview

Outfoxed! (2014) is a cooperative puzzle game where you work to discover which of the suspects stole the pie before the fox gets to safety. You roll to move around the board and apply special Clue tokens to the Clue Decoder holster that reveals specific aspects of the thief in a 'Guess Who' style.

You start by laying out 16 suspect cards around the board and one in the Clue holster. Each player takes turns to roll for Suspects or Clues. If you succeed in a Suspect roll you turn over one of the suspect cards, if you fail the Fox moves closer to escaping. If you succeed in a Clues roll you take a Clue token, and place it on the Decoder to reveal something specific about the thief.

The Decoder is a big part of the fun. It works by you placing a Clue token on top and then sliding out the tab to see if the dot on the Clue token is green. If it is that item is on the suspect. In this way, you build up a profile of the suspect and can discard those without the matching item.

The result is a game of deduction where you need to balance how many clues and how many suspects you uncover. At the end of the game, there's a fun reveal when you (hopefully) unmask the thief.
