Overview
You play Pape, a strange paper creature who escapes from a dark prison with the help of a magical creature called Tura. Together, they move through the world, interacting with characters and fighting against dark, shadowy forces that threaten to burn down the paper world they grow to love.
You play by exploring the varied paper landscapes and paying close attention to how you can interact with the environment. Puzzles can range from lighting up areas to finding and collecting items, and if you get stuck, you can play a mini-game, where you eat specific creatures while avoiding others, that then grants helpful hints to the solution.
The result is an intricate and detailed game that offers a unique mix of varied environmental puzzles, a simple yet powerful story, and handcrafted worlds to explore that create a uniquely engaging game.

Accessibility
Nothing in the game is time-based, so you can take as long as you need with every action you do.
There is no text during play, with any information necessary being conveyed through images. In the menu, each of the three options (brightness, music, sound effects) are also conveyed with an image. the only text in the game is the title screen, which is large and high contrast.
At any time, you can press the question mark in the top right corner of the screen and play a minigame to receive a hint about what to do next, although even these at times can still be somewhat vague.
The game is often low contrast, and because the backgrounds are captured in-camera, there is a depth-of-field effect. Chromatic aberration also appears on some characters.
