PowerWash Simulator is a puzzle game where you clean different objects and locations using a pressure washer. It's designed to be soothing with sounds of high-pressure water and satisfyingly clean results as you blast away every speck of dirt and grime.

Play involves not only carefully washing different objects but also building your own power-washing business and unlocking new tools and upgrades. Unlike other games, there's no right or wrong way to play as is underlined by the lack of time pressure or final score. It's just you and the tools you need to soak away your stress.

If you want more challenge, you can take on high scores in the Challenge Mode. Here you fight grime in different scenarios. Then there is the Time Challenge mode that puts you on the clock and tests your accuracy to use as little water as possible.

Through the course of the game you clean off graffiti, grime, moss, and mould. You get to use a range of washers, nozzles, cleaners, and extensions. Different dirt types have different levels of toughness, so make sure you're getting tactical with your equipment.

10+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Children need to click with the novelty of washing things. Those that do, enjoy the water-play aspect here. It offers a nice alterative to shooting games for players after a non-violent shooter.

PowerWash Simulator is currently in Early Access, and the developer has plans for many regular updates leading up to, and after 1.0 release.
There is no controller remapping at this time, but it is coming in a future update, and is a popular request.
Primary menu text is large, but the descriptions of each are rather small.
The player can pause the game, and click on any piece of the environment on their tablet. When back in-game, the selected item will glow and shimmer. This is especially helpful for finding that last couple of percent of uncleaned areas.
The player can also press a key at any time to have any uncleaned surfaces glow a bright orange color for a short period of time.
When a surface is fully cleaned, it brightly shimmers for a second, and plays an audible chime.
There is no audible dialog in the game at this time. It's all through text messages on the in-game tablet.
