Puddle Knights is a puzzle game where you use your cape to protect nobles from stepping in mud. While it may not challenge the ruling elites, it does create an intriguing challenge with steadily increasing difficulty.

Play involves moving your character around the room tiles, dragging your cape behind you. By doing so you can assist Ladies and Bishops across mud formations that "threaten to dirty their precious hems". As they are moving as well as you, the challenge is to coordinate your movement with the goal of escorting the upper classes to their designated exit.

As you progress things get more tricky. Capes can tear and heads can be stepped on through over 100 levels. You soon learn to use elements in each level to help with the solution. Tearing up capes, holding down drawbridges and performing other tactical manoeuvres. But mistake-making and experimentation enabled by Undo and Reset functions. There's no rush as you can take all the time in the world to think and analyse.

The result is a fresh take on logic puzzles without the usual pressure plates, keys to collect or boxes to push.
