Overview
The gloves are used to generate different types of cubes. Organised by colour, some allow you to bounce on them, others offer a platform to climb on, or activate a pressure pad. As you ascend through the building you come across various puzzles to solve with the cubes. Maybe you need to be flung through the air, climb up a stair made of cubes you have created, move walls around to position panels where you need them, or activate pressure switches. The puzzles get progressively more elaborate as you gain skills with the gloves.
While trying to escape you are in communication with another female survivor who seems to know more about the situation than you do, but is not really very forthcoming with explanations. Unlike Portal, its obvious inspiration, this is a more serious science fiction story. Still the star of the show are the puzzles.
The puzzles are challenging and genuinely satisfying to beat. The environments are realistic and in some rooms quite beautiful to look at. It's different to Portal, and maybe not as polished, but the cube game mechanic is strong enough to stand on its own merits.

The dialogue in the game is of an adult nature with some profanity. The science fiction story has a tense atmosphere and the ending is downbeat. There is no gunplay or requirement to kill anything. There is a suggestion of deaths having occurred, but you do not see that in this game.
