OverviewOverview

Ravenlok is an action adventure game that starts when you fall through a mirror into a troubled kingdom. The Alice in Wonderland similarities continue with fantastical monsters to defeat, cats and rabbits to "help" you on your way. It's a coming of age story that stands out for the blocky design, fantastical realms and nonsensical characters.

Play involves exploring the cartoonish world to find and defeat the Caterpillar Queen, who reigns with an iron fist. As you go you need to solve time-based puzzles, fight waves of enemies and giant bosses. You can find new weapons and unexpected items to level up your skills. There are also quests to complete for the curious creatures you meet, that uncover their secret stories.

The result is a reimagining of the classic Fairy Tale. While the nods to the original fiction are a little heavy, the point here is a loving retelling of that story for a new generation.
