Replaced is a platform game set in a grim dystopian alternate 1980s America. You play as an Artificial Intelligence trapped inside a human wanting to escape.

You run, jump, swing, hit and shoot your way through the levels. Your parasite-host relationship to your human body leads to an unusual aesthetic and disregard for the wellbeing of your flesh. As you struggle to adapt to this new mode of living you discover the decaying society's corrupt overlords and set about to bring them down and earn your freedom.

Motion is fluid through the environment as you move from free-flowing action combat to cinematic platforming. It's a game that stands out for its form, but has an intriguing function to the mechanics it renders so beautifully.

Replaced is coming to Xbox and PC in 2022.
