RetroMania Wrestling is a simple fighting game based on classic arcade wrestling games of the past. It stands out for its retro visuals and plethora of lycra-clad characters and varied locations. Some may bemoan the simplicity and old fashioned playstyle but that's an intentional part of the fun.

You pick from 16 wrestlers and use their unique moves to outmanoeuvre your opponents. The bouts are held in a wide range of arenas each with different furniture and items to make use of should you so wish.

You can play through the Story Mode, but the main attraction is the 2-8 player battles. One-on-One matches, Tag Team matches, 6-Man Tag, 8-Man Tag and even Cages matches offer a range of challenges to take on with your family.

But more than these nuts and bolts of the wrestling game genre, it's the recreation of the pixilated visuals, grand ring entrances complete with entrance music and easy to pick up gameplay that makes this stand out. Even the crowd taunts relate to the action in the ring.
