Robobeat is a shooting game where you maximise your damage by shooting on the beat. More surreal than other rhythm shooter games, the focus here is on musical flow as you wall run, grapple hook, slide, and bunny hop your way through the crazy world.

Play is set in the ever-changing mansion of an eccentric robot-showman. You shoot your way through the twisted techno-playground to try and escape. It's the sort of game where you die quite a lot, but then suit-up and try again with a few more upgrades.

Each run you not only pick your load-out, but also your musical accompaniment. It's important that these both work with your playstyle to maximise your damage and shorten your cooldown time by shooting in sync. Get really good and you can perform multiplier combos that create different tunes with the same gun.

The result is a shooting game that take the focus away from fire power and towards being able to tap in time with the beat. It adds a layer of strategy, but is also a lot of fun to rampage through a level to a thumping song.
