Savannah Park (2021) is a puzzle game where you take charge of a wildlife park located in the Savannahs of Africa. You play by moving Animal tiles around your Wildlife Park board trying to organise them into herds. It is a game about bringing order to chaos whilst everyone else tries their hardest to hinder your progress.

You play as a park ranger, tasked with organising the animals in your wildlife park. You start with 33 Animal tiles, depicting different numbers of animals, randomly placed on your board. Each one can only move once which creates a wrestle of movement to both make gaps where you need them, as well as consider the destination of other matching tiles. These carefully balanced plans can be foiled by other players who take it, in turn, to choose which type of Animal tiles move.

As you play, more animals become locked into place, so your placement decisions become more difficult. Once all the tiles have moved, your score points for having the biggest herd of each animal. You also need to keep an eye on spaces you need to leave uncovered or avoid surrounding, for extra points.

What looks at first like a very simple tile movement puzzle, quickly becomes a battle for space where each goes you must choose between sorting out your own park or forcing the hand of your opponents - the best move of course being when you get to do both at the same time.
