The result feels similar to the Lair of the Clockwork God in its melding of genres. Each adds something to the experience and creates a coherent whole. Moving from dialogue to fisticuffs is seamless both in terms of transitions and the characters and world. How you do in one determines how you progress in the other.
The developer has aimed to "keep the language as friendly as possible. But characters use language as a humorous resource (maybe making a joke about a bizarre situation." At one point, the character tries yo to curse, but it is censored as "****". Then, the main character breaks the fourth wall and says "I don't want this game to be censored... *!@?*."
The developer describes the violence as "not really explicit, but you can see blood. And in some areas, in aid of humour, it is exaggerated."
