Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (2019) is an adventure fighting game set in the Sengoku period in Japan. You play a shinobi known as Wolf, who has lost an arm, as he attempts to take revenge on a samurai clan who attacked him and kidnapped his lord.

It's known as a game that requires great skill and doesn't have accessible difficulty levels. You must learn stealth, exploration, and combat, with a particular emphasis on boss battles. Because of this, it has been compared to the Dark Souls games which are equally challenging.

You play from a third-person view and compact is both high impact and intricate. However, unlike other games that are a test of strength and reflexes, learning Sekiro's combat takes the interaction in an almost balletic direction. It's really hard, but as you master the mechanics there is huge satisfaction in dispatching an enemy efficiently.

Our examiner, Jo Robertson, first checked Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Andy Robertson and updated 6 months ago.
