Somerville is an atmospheric platform game about a family in a warzone. A man, a woman, their child and their dog work to survive and progress through the landscape.

The developers had worked on Inside and Limbo previously. Somerville develops the interactions of those games by adding more characters along with the need to lead and protect each other from harm. The came also includes more cut scenes and filmic camerawork alongside the static side-on view of the world.

You and your family are sometimes together but are also at times forced to progress separately. The environments are largely dark and depict a world under siege from alien forces and decaying humanity. There are puzzle elements alongside the platform running and jumping.

Somerville is coming to Xbox and PC in 2022.
