Play OverviewPlay Overview

Space Team (2015) is a fast, cooperative communication game where you race to repair your malfunctioning spaceship. You have Malfunction cards that require you to work together to match tools to problems. It's a team game where you have fun while shouting frantically for the tools you need.

Your aim is to keep the spaceship's systems functioning until the time runs out. You work your way through your Malfunction cards by finding the right tools to fix them. The twist is that the Tool cards you need are likely in other players' hands.

Finding the right tools can be harder than you think, especially when your Spaceteam is frantically worrying about malfunctions in their own sector. Things are made harder by periodic events like wormholes and asteroids that require team coordination of the entire crew - like physically pulling a player back to the table if they are sucked into a wormhole.

Once you start a round there are no turns. You all play (and shout) at the same time. Victory is achieved if enough malfunctions are corrected to reveal the 6 hidden System-Go cards before time is up.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Space Team 24 months ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 10 weeks ago.
