OverviewOverview

Star Wars Battlefront II is a shooting game based on the Star Wars films. There have been four games in the series and is similar to the main Battlefield series. The latest version is Star Wars Battlefront II that features gameplay from the Star Wars prequel films continuing up to The Last Jedi.

The older Battlefront games were developed by Lucasarts, there was then a long gap until the new games that are developed by EA. The games have in common, the Star Wars setting and normally revolve around two armies – the Galactic Republic versus the Confederacy of Independent Systems or the Galactic Empire versus the Rebel Alliance or First Order versus the Resistance – fighting each other on various maps.

Star Wars Battlefront II offers a single-player story mode, an online multiplayer mode and a customizable character class system. The single player campaign and sheer volume of Star Wars characters, vehicles and locations is a big reason people enjoy this. In Battlefront 2 the story is set Between the time of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
