Sunset Overdrive is an action shooting game set in 2077 with your city under siege from toxic zombies. You traverse the open world on foot and on rails to find and fight the zombies through a series of missions. It stands out for its freedom of play and tongue-in-cheek take on the zombie apocalypse.

As you progress on your own or with other players you learn how to make the most of the city to outmanoeuvre enemies and quickly get around. Leap off buildings, run along walls, and grind power lines and rails to destroy your foes from every angle. You slowly build up an arsenal of weapons that combine found items like dynamite, fireworks, harpoons, and acid to destroy your enemies.
