OverviewOverview

Super Mario Run is a running and jumping game you play by tapping the screen to jump. Your character automatically runs and you just tap at the right time to avoid obstacles and jump on enemies. It sounds too simple to be fun but is actually a cleverly designed and challenging game.

The game became the fastest-growing app in iOS history, having been downloaded more than 50 million times worldwide during its first week of release, and around 300 million times by 2018.

AccessibilityAccessibility

Our Super Mario Run Accessibility Report documents 13 accessibility features:
The course you select determines how complex it is. There are timed jumps required from the start, although missing the jumps you can often have another go or quickly restart. "Easy Mode" enabled makes the game easier and grants infinite time. Most jumps are assisted by the game, but you will need some accurate timing to complete levels. "World Tour" allows you to keep practising a level or revisit your favourite completed ones.

Although just one tap anywhere on the screen to jump and interact, you need to navigate menus with specific tapping to start the game.

No separate audio control for music and effects although you can pick your own music to play for less intrusive audio. There are minimal audio equivalents for visual cues.
