OverviewOverview

Sushi Go! is a sushi-themed card game where you collect combinations of cards to complete sushi dishes and score points. The different dishes require a varying number of cards and related score based on complexity of the recipe. But there's a twist: each time you choose a card to keep, you must pass your hand to the next player.

Play involves selecting cards and laying them into your build pile in order to score points. Each of the cards represents a different kind of sushi and can be built into a set following specific rules. The more difficult the set is to complete, then the higher the points you are rewarded with. Some sets even need to be laid in a specific order to maximise the points that they reward you with.

As play develops you are forced to compete for specific cards from the shared card stash, to complete combinations and score points. This means you need to make lots of small, quick strategic decisions about whether to select a card now or risk another player being able to take it.

This results in a sometimes frantic, always fun game that tests players abilities to make decisions quickly and to predict the actions of their fellow players. Regular players become more accustomed to the different scoring combinations and begin to build their own favourite tactics, which means that the game stays interesting over a long period of time and varies depending on who you play it with.
