Team 3 is a cooperative puzzle game where three players work to build structures from Tetris-style pieces. The target build is on a card that only the Architect player can see, and this player can't speak. The Builder player can touch the pieces but must close their eyes. Leaving the Advisor player in the middle to try and communicate between them. It's a simple premise that's surprisingly hard and enjoyable.

Play involves selecting a build card and assigning roles. The player who can see the card has to communicate with only signs and gestures. The player in the middle tells the blind player what to do, both interpreting the instructions and helping them navigate which pieces are touching and placing.

As teams progress and start to play against the clock, they come up with different strategies for speeding up communication. The building player has to have their eyes closed but can speak and ask questions. The player with the card, can't speak or point at the pieces but can develop different gestures to communicate.
