Overview
Temple of Sun and Moon is a running and jumping game with a puzzle element. This is set in an ancient temple dedicated to the gods of the sun and the moon. Collect 25 coins to complete the game, however some coins are easier to get to than others, and some seem impossible. After getting to the end of the level you are given special powers to change the world from day to night and back again. The temple changes configuration for each time zone. Use your power to reach the coins you could not reach before, and open up new areas.
Play involves jumping and double jumping. To progress you must avoid the hazards or be flung at the screen in a Tom & Jerry style cartoon animation. There are plenty of checkpoints to aid you through the level. The complexity (and fun) comes in when you receive the power to change from day to night.
Flip backwards and forwards with the L1 and R1 buttons to make platforms appear and disappear and doorways open or close. Some of the coins are difficult to collect and require some dexterity with the controller as you pulse between the two states.
Temple of Sun and Moon is a beautifully realised game with great jungle music and eye catching colourful graphics that are chunky and cute. The time swapping adds a unique puzzle element that makes this game more difficult than it initially appears.
