Play OverviewPlay Overview

The Last Cube (2022) is a puzzle platform game where you guide a cube through a series of 3D mazes to save the world from destruction. Because you have to get the right side of the cube on the right square to trigger abilities and progress, it creates a fascinating mix of puzzle, platform and story.

Play involves moving a special cube through a series of mazes. To do this you need to gain stickers, which allow you to do things like create a temporary helper cube, spinning on the spot and moving through the air. These powers enable you to complete the puzzles and move through the world.

As you play, so you encounter more stickers, gain more powers and use them to overcome more complex challenges. All the while you discover more about the cube's ancestors, why the world is headed for destruction and even begin to unpack the cube's own story.

The result is a game that mixes geographic puzzles and exploration in an interesting and often deft way, allowing you to discover more about the world around you as you solve the ever increasingly complex puzzles. It is not only beautiful, but it is addictive and fun to play as the game supports and challenges you in equal measure.
