Overview
Play involves claiming routes on the board using your trains and cards. Longer routes score more points but require more cards to claim. Your routes can be linked together to meet criteria in your journey cards and earn more points.
As play develops you battle for routes and points. Play ends when one player has used all of their trains and scores are totalled. To do well you need to complete you own objectives, whilst carefully watching and obstructing or avoiding opponents.
This results in a game that combines planning and flexibility with a quaint construction of rail routes. What starts as a simple challenge soon gives way to more layered strategies and the desire to play one more time.
