Play OverviewPlay Overview

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (2019) (known as TABS) is a fighting game where you choose different armies and troops to battle each other in an automatic simulation that models their offensive and defensive abilities. Once set up, the fight is largely automatic and calculated by the simulation rather than human input.

Campaign mode consists of choosing the types of army units within the factions: Tribal, Farmers, Medieval, Ancient, Vikings, Dynasty, Renaissance, Pirates, Spooky, and Wild West. Each faction has its own abilities, strengths and weaknesses and deal different amounts of damage. Each unit has a cost so you must balance your resources and consider who you are fighting and take care when placing formations on the battlefield.

Sandbox mode enables you to set up armies without worrying about the costs or the need to win. The fun is seeing how different configurations do against each other. Commonly, a huge number of weaker units can be set up to take on fewer stronger units.

Skill Level

5+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. The appeal of pitting two armies against each other works for very young children. You don't need very much skill because the outcome isn't critical. Like with toy soldiers, you set two sides up and then see how things turn out.
