Trials Rising is a four-player side-on motorbike racing game controlled by pressing ‘accelerate’ or ‘brake’ and using the stick to shift the weight of their riders’ bodies. The game emulates real-world physics, so you have to balance your motorbike’s speed, trajectory and camber.

Each game in the series offers nail-biting competition as you wrestle to get your bike through each outlandish course ahead of other competitors.
  • Trials Evolution is on Xbox 360.
  • Trials Fusion is on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Xbox 360.
  • Trials Rising is on Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia.

Content Rating

This game has been rated PEGI 12 for depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. Not suitable for persons under 12 years of age. This game contains depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. Riders frequently crash into obstacles and are thrown from their bikes, this is followed by rag doll animations of the character bouncing and rolling around. Characters often let out loud blood curdling screams after they crash or get thrown into the air. Riders can also be set on fire or blown up in an explosion, however, there are never any physical injuries visible. All the violence is shown from a distant third-person perspective and is unrealistic in nature.

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of gear crates, emotes and clothing items, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

Skill Rating

9+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. You need some patience and perseverance to complete some of the levels, but even younger players should find enjoyment in the simple racing and focus on acceleration rather than steering.
