Play OverviewPlay Overview

Troubleshooting is a shooting game set inside an old family computer. You explore the inner workings of the operating systems to hunt a virus, fix the WiFi, and become an actual JPEG. Along the way you contend with a massive homework folder, an over helpful paperclip and lots of chances to copy and paste. It's novel not only for it's setting, but because you both left and right click to interact with the world and solve puzzles in unusual ways (the right-clicking bit).

Troubleshooting is the story of an ordinary JPEG on a quest to save the old family computer from a virus you inadvertently download years ago. As you explore the computer you work to organize the messy Desktop and hunt down the troublesome virus.

This involves the usual combat and shooting but also a whole host of other actions that let you interact with the environment in unusual ways. Expanding items so they grow. Deleting things. Copying and pasting objects to create new ways to access out of reach areas.

The result is a game that's part shooting and part point-and-click puzzle, wrapped up in a tongue-in-cheek world that doesn't take itself too seriously.
