It's the 80s and the Christmas is coming, Vinny, Nick and Tony are trying to decrypt a pay-per-view adult channel when they pick up the distress signal of an alien spaceship. Things go from strange to creepy when they realise the alien is killing very specific members of their community.
You explore each scene to move the story forwards. Each area is full of pop culture nostalgia of the era. You investigate the Video Buster Store, play games at the Laser Llamas Arcades, learn new tricks at The Emerald Sword comic store and even talk to the punk-looking Lost Boys at their hideout.
As you progress you soon realise your decisions matter. How the three friends interact with each other affects their friendship and the wider narrative, changing the way they solve the game puzzles, the locations they visit and the answers they find.
The result is a game that achieves its desire to be an ode to 80s classics The Goonies, The Explorers, Monster Squad, The Lost Boys, They Live, Terminator, and even Aliens. But more than that, it tells a compelling story about three friends dealing with things the way three friends of this era always had to - with radical synthesizer music in the background, their wits and tongue-in-cheek humour.

The developers state that this Game may contain content not appropriate for all ages: Frequent Violence or Gore, General Mature Content. At one point a figure is electrocuted so you see the bones of their skeleton and then explodes in to a blue spray that covers the walls.
9+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. Younger players need to persevere and search systematically to solve puzzles. They also need to deal with quite a bit of reading and making choices about dialogue that impact the story.
