The aim is to work together to traverse each of the short, wordless levels. Along the way you discover the story of two characters meeting and growing a close friendship. The challenge is that you need to use your different shapes and combined movement to progress.
You do this by running, jumping, bumping, combining and flipping to help each other through the level. At times these movements need to be carefully timed and coordinated to succeed. Together, players complete physics and platform challenges through a series of coordinated actions, trust falls, and collaborative problem solving. There are other characters you meet with their own goals and abilities. They may help you on your way, but equally may present a new challenge to get past.
The developer made the game as part of their thesis at the New York University Game Center to be an experience that establishes and strengthens relationships, trust, and communication among friends, family, and romantic partners.
7+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. You do need some careful communication and co-ordination to progress as the game gets harder. Timed jumps and quick actions also help.
