OverviewOverview

Yugo Puzzle is a simple puzzle game where you move jelly blocks left and right to combine them with the same colour. The novelty is the ingenious challenges this simple premise is used to create. It's the kind of game where a single level might take you 30 minutes of head scratching, but when you solve it you feel super smart.

Play involves dragging the jellies to make them jump left and right. When two of the same colour touch, they combine into one larger shape. Get all the same colours together to finish the level.

The simple mechanics are slowly expanded with some jellies that weigh more than the others, some jellies that can be jumped on to push them down, other jellies that are bouncy. You also need to carefully think what shapes you need to create when you combine the colours.

When you make it through the main game to the advanced puzzles things really kick off. Here, you may need to get help to solve them from friends and family as they can seem impossible. There are also different graphical options like dark mode and optional jelly faces.

There is another game from the same developer, Jelly No Puzzle (PC and Android), that uses similar mechanics, but with a greater focus on navigating around static levels, rather than the more open puzzles of Yugo Puzzle.
