Promoted Games
Running a database of this scale is something that comes with a variety of costs. Paying for servers, development of new features, paying experts for their time researching games and regularly checking the content is clear and up to date. We have generous supporters who cover some of these costs because they love the project, but this still falls a little short.
Rather than littering the site with adverts, or charging to access the information, we work with publishers of games we already love to promote their family-friendly titles. These partnerships offer the publisher a chance to get their game in front of families but has no impact on the editorial element of the site.
We choose games to work with that have an educational or well-being focus. This includes our Global Accessibility Awareness Day take-over to promote accessibility. We have also worked with Nintendo on its Game Builder Garage game, to run programming sessions with families and highlight other ways video games help get children into programming.
The options we offer are:
Our aim is to create a sustainable resource for parents and carers, where we avoid confusing or distracting adverts and are transparent about any game we are promoting. As you will see these promotions are always done sensitively for games we would otherwise endorse. If you have questions about this, or would like to enquire about promoting a game please contact our editor.

The options we offer are:
- Weekly Promotion: A game is promoted on the site to appear on the home page and higher up search results in which it appears.
- Monthly Tenancy: A game is promoted on the background of the site with an advert that appears on every page.
