Invite Developers To Complete Accessibility QuestionnaireAs part of our work to extend the coverage and accuracy of the accessibility data, we have worked with experts to create an Accessibility Questionnaire for developers to complete. This not only updates accessibility data in the database for their game but creates a powerful context for them to discover a wide range of accessibility features to consider adding.
Many of them, like these examples, come away from this with a clearer idea of what their game supports, a way to communicate that to players and a list of potential enhancements:
- “Had a wonderful #accessibility chat with @TamingGamingDB. All our confirmed settings are recorded in their page, and we've got some great ideas of a11y we could add to @Smalland.” - Merge Games Ltd
- “Yay, @GeekDadGamer added Get Together to the database @TamingGamingDB. His accessibility review uncovered some handy things we'll be adding like making screen shake optional.” - Studio Sterneck
- "I just updated Severed Steel's accessibility page on the database. Huge thanks to @GeekDadGamer for setting the page up! The questionnaire inspired some ideas for Sev Steel: like an option to disable explosion screen shake." - Severed Steel Developer
- Had a fascinating chat with @GeekDadGamer about accessibility yesterday. I learnt a lot and plan to improve OCO's accessibilty features." Philip Sinclair
