Best Roll-And-Write Games

While many games have dice and a pad to keep score, Roll-And-Write games double down on these two things. You get a scoresheet, something happens each turn and then you record decisions by marking things off on that sheet.

It started back with the classic game Yahzee, but has now become a varied and interesting mechanic. Some of these games offer printable sheets that not only record your choices by act as a miniature game board.

Along with the novel play style, these games are usually really portable and can be played on the go as long as you have a pen and a table.
