As you explore the overworld and solve the intricately puzzling dungeons you discover new towns, fight ferocious foes, locate hidden temples, and collect magical objects and weapons.
There is joypad compatibility with Apple, you can play mobile with touch, or you can attach a joypad which is the easiest and probably the best way to play. It loses nothing on touch controls, using a virtual joystick.
