OverviewOverview

American Arcadia is a running and jumping game where you solve puzzles to escape your televised life in an opulent but overly controlled futuristic city.

The game is set in a 70’s retro-future city of high luxury. But the citizens don't know they are, in fact, all being broadcast 24 hours a day, Truman Show style. If ratings drop too low for a particular citizen they pay the price: death.

You play as two characters working together to complete a range of platforming and action challenges: breath-taking chases, stealth, hacking, exploration and puzzles. Each character is played from a different perspective, one from the side on and the other from first person.

The result is a game that looks idyllic but hide within a dark and dangerous mystery to discover. Part escape room, part point and click and part platformer. It comes together with a range of impressive voice work to offer an experience worthy of the developers previous game, Call of the Sea.
