You start by placing the crocodile on a flat surface. Players then select seven creatures for their pile. Each turn, you roll the dice then must place that many creatures on top of the crocodile. You win if you use all your pieces first without toppling the pile.
As you play, the tower becomes taller and wider, so the difficulty of stacking increases. Players must use their physical dexterity and decision making to decide where best to place their animals. What starts as a simple stacking game, quickly becomes a clever balancing act between adding your pieces, whilst making it more difficult for your opponents to do the same.
Play Time: This game will take between 10 minutes and 15 minutes to complete.
3-6 year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Younger players need to be able to take turns and have the physical dexterity needed to stack the animals without toppling the pile. There's also a version called Animal Upon Animal Junior that's designed for younger players with a cooperative mode.
