Play OverviewPlay Overview

Blek (2013) is a puzzle game where you control the repeating motion of a moving line. Your challenge is to pass through coloured dots. However, you can only enter a short motion that repeats. In this way, you have to draw in a motion that, as it repeats, creates a path through the dots.

This simple premise is easier to see in action than to describe. But once you understand the premise it becomes an instinctive and elegant puzzle game. It's unusual not only because of the way you control the movement but how this leads to reflections on motion, embodiment and how simple repeated motions can solve complex problems.

The Android version of Blek is unavailable currently.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Blek 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 8 months ago.

Skill Level

7+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Younger players need to have good touch control and be able to thinking iteratively. This sounds complicated but soon becomes instinctual with practice. In some cases older players take longer for this type of puzzle to click as it is unlike their usual more linear thinking.
