OverviewOverview

A Puzzle in Time is a puzzle game set in a laboratory. Your task is to escape the room and prove time travel is possible by solving puzzles set over four different years. Inspired by games like Portal and The Witness this short but challenging game has some mind (and time) bending conundrums that require serious lateral thinking.

Play is point-and-click style puzzles, but in a single room first person perspective that adds to the feeling of claustrophobia. There are no hints or instructions, you have to work things out from clues in the environment. But not only the time you are in, as you travel to different periods you can see how your actions affect the room in each year of the experiment. Experimentation is the key, try everything.

The result is a fascinating game from a creator who specialises in sci-fi escape room games.

Content Rating

This game has not yet been rated, but we anticipate it is likely to be rated PEGI 3.

User-Generated Content: This game includes content created by other players, such as maps, outfits and items, that are not reflected in the game rating.

Skill Rating

9+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Puzzles are difficult and possibly too hard for very young children to work out. Older children with an interest in time travel and the mind bending scenarios this can create will rise to the challenge here.
