OverviewOverview

A Walk with Yiayia is an adventure game where you go on a walk with your Greek grandmother after she's lost her confidence from having a fall. You reassure her and connect with conversation and help her complete small quests in a relaxing neighbourhood.

In black and white pixilated visuals, play involves directing your character and making choices about conversations. This is very much about the journey rather than the destination. There is no way to fail which keeps proceedings low stress.

The result is a game that offers an unusual way of connecting the experiences between first-generation immigrants and their family members. It's a chance to reflect on what they can learn from each other's experiences.

A Walk With Yiayia is an uplifting story about inspiring your grandma to get out of her comfort zone and live her life without fear.
