After Midnight is a small puzzle-style role play game where you lead a team of animal medics to contain a virus outbreak in a hospital. It's a simple game that offers a window into the life of a health worker. Subsidised by the National Centre for Culture Poland under the programme "Kultura w sieci".

Play involves moving your fox medic around the grid-based hospital rooms to take on different bacteria. It's turn based so the strategy here is to use your medical attacks to take out the enemies without losing too much health yourself.

It's a simple game the slowly gets harder and adds more elements. As you go you unlock some medical trivia in the Encyclopaedia, but more than this you discover a narrative about medics struggling with work, friendships and confidence to be who they need to be for their patients.
