Begone Beast is an action-traversal game where you fight monsters and explore a vast, dark cave. With fast-paced combat and different ways to defeat the hordes of monsters, it stands out with four person co-operative team work. It's an adventure the whole family can play at once.

Play involves exploring a vast network of tunnels and caverns, avoiding deadly traps and obstacles. Along the way you must face varied monsters. Sometimes they attack alone, but often they form huge hordes that require tactical thinking to overcome.

Along with the usual hitting and shooting, where you quickly hack and slash away at enemies, you can also use environmental features to overcome your foes. You can trick them into falling into a pit of lava, or construct barricades to provide a haven from the onslaught.

When exploring, you need to avoid deadly obstacles, such as poisonous pits of goo, and unlock gates blocking the way. When playing with others, you can revive other players to get them back into the game, but may often have to put yourself in harm's way to do so, making each decision a calculated choice.

It's a unique game that puts your decisions at the forefront and allows you to approach the game's many challenges from a variety of different angles, all while providing fun, challenging and rewarding gameplay.
