Play OverviewPlay Overview

Blazing Beaks (2019) is a shooting adventure where you enter a colourful world as an armed bird blazing their way through piles of mutants, monsters and creepy creatures. Each run is different although the levels steadily get harder.

Play involves clearing out each area of enemies so you can collect coins, items and weapons. You control direction of movement with one stick and direction of fire with the other. As you progress through the rooms you reveal mysteries and secrets (not all of which are helpful).

Collecting artefacts has a double edge to it. Some will help you while others will also have a hinderance. In one room you may collect something that says collecting coins will now harm you, then in the next room you find five coins. Be sure to remember not to pick them up.

There are different modes to play on your own or with friends. There are arena based local multiplayer modes where you battle your friends. You can also play the campaign in local co-op. You can also pick any of the 10 different characters, which each have different benefits and shortcomings and unique abilities. You can even create your own custom characters.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Blazing Beaks 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 10 months ago.
